The Diablo Valley Masterworks Chorale is an auditioned vocal ensemble, dedicated to excellence in the performance of choral music for the cultural enrichment and enjoyment of both its audience and its members.

Diablo Valley Masterworks Chorale is in its 41st Season under the direction of Richard Kamprath. The 70 member chorus ranges in age from young adult to senior citizen, with a wide range of vocal skills. From amateur to semi-professional - all choral members share a common thread – a love of performing classical choral works. While the chorus is deeply rooted in the performance of works from a classic repertory, we also enjoy learning and performing many outstanding pieces from contemporary composers. We strive to enrich our own musical interests and repertoire as well as create a meaningful and personal experience for our patrons. We are proud of our reputation as the premier performance ensemble of choral music in the Contra Costa East Bay region.
